K.A. DILDAY
JOURNALIST
BIOGRAPHY
I am a writer and editor based in New York but I've lived in and reported from cities across the world. I've held staff positions at various organizations including Atlantic Media, The New York Times and Essence Magazine. I've been a commentator for radio and television in the United States and abroad for news outlets including the BBC and National Public Radio. I've also written or edited for many other publications and organizations in North America, Europe and Africa: among them, The World Policy Journal, Slate, The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, The Washington Post, Jeune Afrique, OpenDemocracy, the Financial Times, The Guardian, The Atlantic, CityLab and numerous others.

I've been on panels in various forums in Europe and the U.S., even limping along in my ill-formed French. I grew up in the deep South of the United States.

My distinctive trait: If I had to be the lone holdout on a jury for months, I would be.
